The story behind the love...

More about me...

I have something called cerebral palsy. Some people call it a disability, but I can do everything anyone else can do, sometimes it just takes me longer. I play volleyball, basketball, help with my sisters, do chores around the house, and have my own Tik-Tok account, where my best friend and I post funny videos. Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something because I know you can!

About Lucy Love Boxes

I was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa. At age two I went to an orphanage until my adoptive mom visited me there! In 2011, I moved to the United States and started school. I LOVE SCHOOL! I also love to do work for people and love to make people smile.

When I turned 14, I wanted to get a job. I really wanted to work, but there weren't many jobs in my town so my mom had the idea for Lucy Love Boxes. My best friend and I were sitting on our front porch and worked with my mom to develop the idea and pick out all of the cool things to put in the boxes. It was so much fun! We even fell off the porch swing that night from laughing so hard.

I LOVE hot cocoa so we thought what better way to spread smiles than to send a box to someone with cocoa and other goodies! We were so excited when the boxes of products started to arrive! We made a few changes, ordered some more products, and helped my mom create this website.

And so, here we are...Lucy Love boxes...ready to ship a box to your special person! I think it's so cool that these boxes will be sent all over to spread love to others! I promise to send each one off with an air-kiss and a prayer!

Spread love one box at a time!

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay using credit card or PayPal on our SHOP page.

How do I include a card witih the box I send?

We like to send the boxes anonymously, but if you would like to include a card just shoot us an email at lucyloveboxes@gmail.com.

Why don't you want my special person to know I sent it?

We believe that the best way to give is to give anonymously. My family tries to give without people knowing it was from us. But, you can always email lucyloveboxes@gmail.com to include a card, or tell your special person if you want!

What is cerebral palsy?

Cerebral palsy (CP) affects a person's ability to move and balance. CP is the most common motor disability in childhood. Cerebral means having to do with the brain. Palsy means weakness or problems with using the muscles. Some people with CP have trouble speaking clearly or have drool because their mouth muscles aren't strong enough. CP can be a blessing though. I have gotten to meet a lot of people at lots of hospitals and I get extra help from some pretty cool people at school!

Do you have a best friend?

Yes! My bestie's name is Kylie. She is so much fun! For Halloween one year we dressed as the sun and the moon. We have been best friends since first grade! We try to get together every day and if we can't then we FaceTime each other. Our favorite things to do together are make hot cocoa or smoothies, play basketball, walk uptown to eat or shop, and watch or make Tik-Tok videos.
